Like Blackjack, the player who wins the hand must have a third card between his first two cards. However, unlike Blackjack, the player can raise the ante.

The most common type of poker game is the seven-card stud. Similar to Blackjack, this game is played with a standard deck of playing cards. To play the game, a player must make a straight or a pair of aces, but in a stud game the player can also make a full house. An Ace King has 16 combos.

A more elaborate form of poker, the three-card brag, has players bet an ante on the first two cards, then a third card is bet on in between. If all the players fold, the dealer reveals the third card and a round of betting ensues. In contrast to the three-card brag, the best hand is usually not the one that’s dealt to the top of the stack. Instead, the best hand is the one with the lowest combination of cards.
